President Donald Trump’s relationship with climate change has been quite a rocky road. He didn’t mention it at all on Earth Day, all mention of any related policies disappeared from the White House website, and he disabled a federal committee meant to advise on the matter in August of 2017. In October of 2017 he appointed a climate change skeptic as the head of an environmental council. It’s been difficult to get a grasp on what the President’s exact plans are, but many environmentalists are worried. With the threat of executive orders changing everything from the bottom up, perhaps there is indeed reason to be concerned over these very serious issues.
